PetHour
ACCESSIBILITY

Our goal

Our goal is for the PetHour website and the iPhone and Android apps to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

PetHour should work for everyone who cares for pets or needs care for theirs — including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, voice control, captions or other assistive technology.

Where we are

Last reviewed 27 October 2026. This was our own review, not an outside audit: we checked the website and both apps against each WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA requirement by reading their code, and ran automated checks on every page of the website in each colour theme, on a computer, a phone and a phone held sideways. Testing by hand with screen readers comes next.

Some parts of PetHour don't meet our goal yet. They're listed below with what you can do in the meantime. When we fix one, we take it off the list.

Known issues

  • Colours. PetHour Light and PetHour Dark don't meet the contrast level: some text, buttons and field outlines are too faint to read easily. Choose an Easy-to-read theme above — they do.
  • Keyboard. In the card payment form, which our payment provider runs, a hidden part can take keyboard focus and the quick-pay button can't be reached with the keyboard. Our support team can do any of these steps with you. We're looking for a fix, and checking the availability calendar with the keyboard by hand.
  • Forms. Outside sign-in and sign-up, some fields still show their name only as grey text inside the box, which disappears while you type. We're giving every field a visible name.
  • Films. The film “More ways to get paid” has no captions yet. The other two films have captions and a transcript under them. We're adding its captions.

Tell us about a barrier

Use our Contact page and choose “Accessibility”, or email support@pethour.app. Please tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you use. You don't need an account to write to us. We aim to reply within 5 business days.

We'll work with you to fix the problem or to find another way to get done what you need — by email, or with our support team doing it for you. We can also send you a large-print or plain-text copy of our Terms, Privacy Policy or any other legal document.

You can also write to ITPro Solutions LLC, 1639 Sunstone Dr, Tysons, VA 22102, United States.
